I hope everyone was able to attend Photonics West 2012 in San Francisco.

Photonics West has become a main show for the photonics industry. It is the first show of the year and is often the first place our new products are shown. We were very busy at the show with some of these, and over the next few months I will highlight a few.

I look forward to your comments (good, bad or indifferent) and how you would like to use the products listed below.

InGaAs image sensors

Our InGaAs image sensors (1D and 2D) are highly sensitive to NIR wavelengths up to 2500 nm. They are designed for applications such as nondestructive inspection, thermal imaging, laser beam profiling, spectroscopy, and more. Our newest InGaAs image sensors include the G11620 series, G11097 series, and G12242-0707W.

IR-enhanced CCDs

Conventional CCDs have low NIR sensitivity, but we offer CCDs with enhanced NIR sensitivity thanks to the MEMS structure formed on the backside of the devices. These CCDs are suitable for many applications such as Raman spectroscopy, NIR cameras, and SD-OCT. Our newest IR-enhanced CCDs include the S11490, S11491, S11500-1007, and S11510 series.
