GaAsP, GaP

GaAsP and GaP photodiodes have a spectral response similar to that of the human eye. Unlike silicon photodiodes, but like the human eye, they have a suppressed sensitivity at longer wavelengths. Typically their response is from around 280 nm to 760 nm. Some can have response down to 190 nm. Typical applications include UV detection, spectrophotometry and color sensing.
