Full description The NIRO-200 Monitor is a quantitative oxygenation monitor for cerebral tissue and muscle tissue; using the spatial resolved spectroscopy method (SRS) it can provide the quantitative data for tissue oxygenation index (TOI) in % and for tissue hemoglobin index (THI) in a.u., the latter one also can be displayed as normalized THI (nTHI) which stands for the percentage change of total hemoglobin; NIRO-200 additional uses the Beer-Lambert method and provides at same time the relative changes of delta O2Hb, delta HHb and delta cHB in microMolar. This simultaneous use of SRS and Beer-Lambert data thus delivers a detailled description about the hemodynamic situation. As it is a two channel system bihemispheric data can be acchieved. Besides of realtime graphic desplay also realtime data transfer to an external computer is realized plus an internal floppy disc drive for stand alone use. The NIRO-200 can automatically adapt for extreme high OD differences and thus realizes a very convenient use. Due to online checking of the measurement conditions plus the simultaneous use of SRS and Beer-Lambert method the system allows a redundance check and all data are highly reliable. The NIRO-200 can measure up to a speed of 1/6 sec per data. Combined with indocyanin green bolus the blood flow index (BFI) can be measured too.
