HELLO!  HCimage is Hamamatsus core image processing and image analysis software designed to solve a wide range of scientific and industrial imaging applications. It can control complex experiments including camera control, full microscope and illumination control. Furthermore it allows to run experiments in semi-automated or automated modes and to apply sophisticated image analysis algorithms to the image data for detailed analysis. It is designed for applications like fluorescence microscopy, ratio imaging, TIRF, FRET, FRAP, multi-dimensional time lapse imaging, protein-protein interaction analysis or particle size analysis.
HCimage can grow with customers application field. Following versions are offered:
HCimage Live
This is the base module of HCimage which includes the driver for Hamamatsu cameras based on the highly optimized DCAM camera driver model. HCimage Live provides the necessary tools for image acquisition, processing and basic analysis.
HCimage Acquisition
This is the extention module which includes all functions of HCimage Live plus the ability to perform multi-dimensional image acquisition including control of a wide range of motorized devices.
HCimage Analysis
This software version includes all functions and features of HCimage Live and HCimage Acquisition plus an extensive selection of tools for manual, semi-automated and automated quantitative image analysis. Tracking, area, size, count, position, intensity, colour analysis are just examples of the more than 150 analysis functions implemented in HCimageAnalysis
For HCimage Acquisition and HCimage Analysis there is an optional module:
The Deconvolution and Visualisation module offers a new generation 2-d blind deconvolution function. It can be applied automatically to image sequences, calculates point spread function automatically, works for black/white and colour images.
Furthermore this module allows the user to easily view and interact with multi-dimensional data sets. It can reconstruct and render a multi-dimensional dataset for interactive 3-d viewing.
